4. Third-Party Platforms
The Service may be used alongside third-party websites or services (for example, online chess platforms). We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any third-party platform unless explicitly stated.
Your use of any third-party platform is governed by that platform’s own terms and policies. You are solely responsible for understanding and complying with them.
5. User Responsibility & Third-Party Consequences
You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for how you use the Service.
The Service may provide analysis, evaluations, or suggested moves. How and where you choose to use these features is entirely your decision and responsibility.
Many third-party platforms maintain rules or policies that restrict or prohibit the use of engine assistance during certain types of play (such as rated or competitive games).
We are not responsible for any consequences resulting from your use of the Service, including but not limited to account warnings, suspensions, bans, loss of ratings, loss of access, or any other penalties imposed by third-party platforms.
By using the Service, you agree that any actions taken by third parties in response to your use of the Service are outside our control and are your sole responsibility.
We do not monitor, control, or enforce how users interact with third-party platforms while using the Service.
6. Content & Game Data
The Service may store game data (such as game records) to provide features like analysis history. You represent that you have the necessary rights to provide any content or data you submit or sync through the Service.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by ChessSolve (or its licensors) and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use our trademarks, branding, or logos without permission.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any analysis, suggestions, or outputs. Use any information provided by the Service at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChessSolve will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your use of or inability to use the Service, (b) any conduct or content of any third party, or (c) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
